Project Terms

Business identity

Gigi Creative Studio is a business name used by an individual owner operating remotely from the Philippines, offering digital services to clients in the Philippines, the United States, and other countries. For signed contracts, the provider should be identified by the owner’s full legal name.

Relationship to your signed agreement

These public Project Terms describe our usual working process. A client-specific signed Service Agreement and approved quotation or Statement of Work (SOW) define the actual deliverables, prices, schedule, rights, and any exceptions. If these public terms differ from a signed agreement, the signed agreement governs the project, subject to applicable law.

Project scope and approvals

We begin paid work after the client accepts a written quotation/SOW and the applicable agreement. The SOW should specify included services, deliverables, exclusions, timeline, review period, and support or warranty arrangements, if any. The client supplies authorized materials, information, feedback, and access needed for the work. Delays in receiving these may affect delivery estimates.

Fees and payment

For one-time projects, the usual payment schedule is a 50% deposit before work begins and the remaining 50% before final deliverables are released or transferred, unless the signed Statement of Work (SOW) specifies otherwise. The quotation must identify the amount and currency (PHP or USD), accepted payment method, and any applicable payment or conversion fees. Ongoing services may have separate billing arrangements. Domain, hosting, paid software, advertising, printing, and other third-party expenses are excluded unless expressly included. We may pause work on overdue accounts after reasonable notice, subject to the signed agreement and applicable law.

Revisions and additional requests

Unless the signed SOW states otherwise, two rounds of revisions within the agreed scope are included. A revision is an adjustment to an existing agreed deliverable, not a new deliverable or complete redesign. Additional rounds, urgent work, new features, and substantial scope changes require a written change order and approval of any extra fees and revised schedule before proceeding.

Ownership and third-party materials

Upon full payment, the client receives only the ownership or usage rights expressly stated in the signed SOW, to the extent transferable. Gigi Creative Studio retains its pre-existing templates, reusable code, internal methods, tools, and know-how. Third-party images, fonts, software, platforms, and other licensed materials remain subject to their respective licenses. Editable files or application source code are included only when specifically listed in the SOW.

Confidentiality and portfolio

We treat nonpublic project information as confidential and use it for authorized project work, subject to lawful disclosures. We do not display identifiable client names, logos, screenshots, testimonials, or confidential project details in our portfolio without separate written permission. Our portfolio may feature clearly identified fictional concepts and demo projects.

Design, printing, websites, apps, and marketing

Print-ready design services provide digital artwork only unless physical production is expressly included. Clients should provide printer requirements and approve final proofs. Websites and apps include only the features, integrations, testing, handover, and support described in the SOW. Hosting, domain fees, subscriptions, ongoing security monitoring, and maintenance are separate unless included. We do not guarantee specific sales, leads, search rankings, advertising results, or uninterrupted third-party platform availability.

Cancellation, refunds, and disputes

Either party may request cancellation in writing. Charges for completed work and approved nonrecoverable expenses, and any refund due, are determined under the signed agreement and applicable law. Deposits are not automatically forfeited. We aim to resolve concerns first through good-faith written communication. Neither these terms nor an agreement exclude rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Governing law and questions

Gigi Creative Studio operates online from the Philippines and serves clients in the Philippines, United States, and elsewhere. Philippine law is our proposed default governing law for client agreements, unless the parties agree otherwise in a signed agreement and subject to mandatory laws that apply. The governing law, forum, and dispute-resolution steps must be expressly stated in the signed Client Service Agreement before work begins. We first seek good-faith written resolution of disputes.
